Study tours — within India and abroad — are built into the curriculum across SPA's programmes. As of this build, the Association's public site does not document an active study-tour subsidy — this page sketches out how one could be structured, for the Executive Committee to fill in or discard.
Study Tour Financial Support
Academic study tours are part of the SPA curriculum. This page is a template for alumni-funded support toward them.

What could be covered
| Support type | Typical coverage |
|---|---|
| Partial travel subsidy | Up to [X]% of documented travel cost |
| Full subsidy (need-based) | Travel and accommodation, on demonstrated need |
Suggested process
- Confirm the tour is a required or recommended part of the semester.
- Submit a request with the tour's estimated cost and a faculty coordinator's endorsement.
- The Student Aid Committee reviews requests before the tour's payment deadline.
- Approved support is paid directly to the department, or reimbursed against receipts.
Note: If this becomes a real programme, tie its application window to each department's study tour calendar — payment deadlines are usually short.
